We had a wonderful visit with my family this month. We went to Splash Down, Silverwood, Green Bluff, and many parks in the area. I wish I would have taken more pictures, but here is what I got.
Water Fights
As soon as they got here, the kids ran to the back yard and had a great water fight!
(L-R: Ian, James, Alvin, and Alex)
Ian, James, and Alvin
Papa Dragon and Baby Dragon: When I was little, my dad would wrestle with us. I learned quickly, I could win if I was the baby dragon and my dad protected me (i.e. turn on my brothers). Rilie picked up this too, although he did turn on the Papa Dragon at times. He misses his Papa Dragon!
Alvin and Isaac... guess who's winning?
Garden:
We showed my family our garden. Our onions are GROWING! Beans, zucchini, and tomatoes are ready! Corn has a couple more weeks.
Kids jumping on the trampoline.
(L-R: Isaac, Ian, Alvin (Marilyn's grandson Dylan above), and Alex.
James, he was having fun on this swing near by.
Itty-bitty grasshopper... or cricket.
Discovery Park
Ian climbing the rainbow arches.
James playing a tune on the huge chimes.
Jackson sleeping in his daddy's arms.
Ian, Alex, and Alvin plotting their revenge.
Rock Climbing!

Papa Dragon & Baby Dragon
Rilie asked Nick to swing with him.
Silverwood & Boulder Beach
This is a fun play structure with water slides, water guns, and all sorts of fun ways to get splashed.
Grammie & Jackson
Nick
See the bucket on top? It slowly fills with water and dumps over on top of everyone.
It sounds like an avalanche when it comes down.
James & Alex shooting another group of kids.
Rilie enjoying the water slides.
Isaac filling a bucket
Then dumping the bucket... almost hitting me.
Papa Dragon and Baby Dragon going down slides together.
Rilie squirting people.

Toddler Area: The kids loved this just as much.
James showing off his muscles.
This is a tall water slide the kids enjoyed.
Mission Park
Ian balancing... these steps spin as you walk on them.
Everyone enjoyed meeting Jack Jack.
Finding a cool place to rest.
It's so hot!
After Mission Park, we went to Sonic for burgers and ice cream. The boys enjoyed seeing the serves on roller skates. After that, we went to Franklin Park.
Franklin Park
Nick is showing the kids how to reach new heights.
Beautiful Spokane sunset.
Jackson learning new skills. This bounces as you get on it.
Then falling off.
Green Bluff
It was a hot day! Everyone got to pick peaces, yellow plumbs, and apricots. Afterwards, we went to Nick's grandparents home for his birthday dinner and ice cream cake.
Last Day
Five Guys Burger and Fries. The kids enjoyed burgers, hot dogs, and the infamous soda machine.
It's digital with many choices of flavors.
We made it to the airport. The downtown park's parking lot was under construction, so we weren't able to play there. Off to the airport we went. It was a hard good bye.
All the boys were wonderful with Jackson, but James was the most tender. He would stop what he was doing and come over to hug, kiss, or just spend a quiet moment with him.
We miss our AK family. Hopefully, we can come snow machining with you soon.
Rilie and Jackson are partners in crime.
Rilie moved the baby gate, so Jackson could climb down and play in the yard with him.
Buzz Light Year
That is an empty bucket of licorice on his head.
Alex helping Jackson get some batter.
