Okay... that title may be too cheesy, but we have had many adventures this May.
Tree blooming in our backyard... well technically the neighbor's,
but we enjoy the blossoms hanging over the fence.
Beautiful sling Samantha Anderson made for my birthday.
Jackson likes it too.
Back to adventures...
We've planted more things in our garden, this is where we planted our flowers.
We'll see what comes up! It was a mixed bag.
Our potatoes are sprouting. Our peas are 5 - 6 inches tall.
The carrots haven't popped up yet, but they will.
Next month, we'll plant corn, beans, and squash.
Jackson exploring the many secret places in our friends garden.
We played with friends!
Father/Son Camp Out
Setting up the tent to make sure all the pieces are there.
Nick took all FOUR boys! He was the only dad with babes in diapers.
Needless to say, he was quite the talk of the ward.
The boys loved playing in the tent!
Grilling: We find any excuse to use our grill...
This was so yummy! French bread sliced, lather Dijon mustard and butter between slices,
then add ham & cheese. Grill until cheese is gooey.
We tried new things: Jackson LOVES olives!
We played some more.
We explored new things.
(Yes, he is sucking on chalk.)
(We love holding on to things so we can stand)
Played with water and dug in dirt
And, when Mom isn't looking... the real fun begins.
This month, I spoke on "Peace at Home" by Elder Scott.
I am so grateful for my children and how well they get along.
Wait for me! I'm almost ready!
Bed Head - It's the style.
My Webelos Group!
We were at Home Depot making Mother's Day presents
(and passing off part of their Craftsman pin)
Rilie taking a nap outside.
His new goal is to catch the birds.
(We have robins, quails, and other little chickadee sized birds)
He tip-toes very slowly whispering, "Come on babies" and
when they fly away, he yells, "Aw! Man!"
School is still in session!
Alvin finishing a reading lesson.
Rilie painting... well this is for fun!
Alex taking a math test. One more and he is DONE!
Until next year...
Rilie's new "expression"
Sometimes he says, "Argg"
